Golf du Médoc - Les Châteaux 6946yards, par 71

Nestled amongst vineyards of the Médoc, between Bordeaux and the sunbathed beaches of the Atlantic, discover the Médoc golf course. Ranked among the best golf courses of Continental Europe the French golf course is a must for golfers who appreciate a challenge.

The Châteaux Course is a championship golf course corresponding with pure tradition of Scottish links. The generous fairways bordered by heather and broom, water hazards and ditches all protecting well guarded greens that entice golfers into the delights of carefully preserved nature.

The fast greens, the influence of the Atlantic winds and the technical difficulties of the course layout, make this championship course a constant challenge.

Golf du Médoc – Les Vignes 6842yards, par 71

The sister golf course, officially the easier of the two but preferred by many with a number of long par 5’s. The golf course designed by Rod Whitman is set in a typically regional landscape where the beauty of the moors and the maritime pines serve to enhance the architects design.

The carefully designed greens and judiciously placed bunkers gradually become harder and tougher as the holes progress, and the wooded back nine creates a variety of challenges and a sumptuous setting that will more than meet the expectations of the most demanding of players.

The clubhouse made entirely of glass and natural timber is nestled in the middle of the course, offering fine regional cuisine in an elegant panoramic setting, perfect for a glass of Médoc wine after a great day’s golf.

Combined these courses create one of the best 36 hole layouts that French golf courses have to offer!
